“The one who walks with God by Faith always gets to his end destination.”
Hebrews 11:5 (NIV) – By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) – And without faith* it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists* and that he rewards those who earnestly* seek him.
In other words; You better have faith.
A person that says he believes God exists will show it by the way he lives
Hebrews 11:1 says “Now Faith is…”
Faith is required in Real time its NOW!!! Not later or tomorrow or yesterday.
As you live life, now you need to be applying Active faith. (Every moment your decisions matter.)
Because faith is indispensable *(onmisbaar) to a good relationship with God; it’s importance cannot be overemphasized.
Notice the condition in the key verse…
It does not say that God is the rewarder of everyone but “of those who diligently seek Him” (How? By Faith)
Living faith in real time is found in diligently, actively, consistently, enthusiastically – Seeking Him, in study and prayer and conforming to His will.
Those who are doing these things are encouraged that they will be rewarded.
Here are Biblical statements about walking by faith in Real Time:
#1) Romans 5:1-2 (Amp) – 1Therefore, since we have been justified [that is,
acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that]
we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord
Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have access by faith
into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely]
stand. Let us rejoice in our [a]hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and
enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and
#2) Romans 4:20 (Amp) – But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the
promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God,
#3) Galatians 2:20 (NIV) – I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but
Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body*, I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave himself for me. (*In real time)
#4) 2 Corinthians 5:7 (Amp) – 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a
manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—
#5) Ephesians 3:11-12 (Amp) – 11 This is in accordance with [the terms of] the eternal
purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness
and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient
courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].
Listen to how God acknowledges the standards and examples of men who had a great reputation of faith fullness by walking in Real Time with God.
Ezekiel 14:13-14 (Amp) – 13 “Son of man, if a land sins against Me by committing unfaithfulness, and I stretch out My hand against it and destroy its source of bread and send famine on it and cut off from it both man and animal, 14 even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job were in that land, by their own righteousness (right standing with God) they could only save (deliver) themselves,” says the Lord God.
Hebrews 11:7 (NIV) – By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
Noah walked with God under extreme stressful circumstances for us to follow and strive to reproduce.
These verses pose a real challenge and responsibility to us
What about Daniel?
» Daniel 1:8 (NIV) – But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and
wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.
» Daniel 6:3 (Amp) – Then this Daniel, because of the extraordinary spirit within him,
began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and the satraps, and the king
planned to appoint him over the entire realm.
Need we say much about Job?
» Job 2:9-10 (Amp) – 9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still cling to your integrity
[and your faith and trust in God, without blaming Him]? Curse God and die!” 10 But he
said to her, “You speak as one of the [spiritually] foolish women speaks [ignorant and
oblivious to God’s will]. Shall we indeed accept [only] good from God and not [also]
accept adversity and disaster?” In [spite of] all this Job did not sin with [words from] his
What about you? If things fell apart in your life, would you still serve God?
What amazing testimonies of people who walked with God by faith in Real Time.
Luke 9:62 (MSG) – Jesus said, “No procrastination*, No backward looks, you can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow, seize the day.” (Real Time Faith)
*Delaying – Habit of putting off
Walking by Faith in Real Time means to be conscious of the things of God, sees God in every situation, makes choices that honor’s God.
Paul’s message to the Philippians Church;
Philippians 3:10-14 (Amp) – 10 And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did]; 11 [a]so that I may attain to the resurrection [that will raise me] from the dead.
12 Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on [b]so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. 13 [c]Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Remember: Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) – And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:13 (NIV) – All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.
May this be said about our lives!
