Nothing is to hard for God

There is Nothing too hard for God.

That’s not just an encouraging statement, it’s a biblical truth spoken by God Himself.

May this be more than just what you believe, may it become a reality.

Pastor George Lehman

“Anything is possible as long as you remain focused, determined and you really want to do it.” – Gabriel Iglesias

Jeremiah 32:17 (NIV)– “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.*Nothing is too hard for you.”

*You got me covered God – Compared to my limited problems how great you are!

Ephesians 3:20 (Amp) – Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super-abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.

When we look at the world with all of its trials, tribulations and heartaches we sometimes think: “Where is God?” “Why doesn’t He do something?” “Is God not able?”

#1. The Majesty of God’s limitless power.

God tells Abraham he was going to have a son in his old age. – Sarah actually laughed. God’s response:

Genesis 18:12-15 (LB) – 12So Sarah laughed *silently. “A woman my age have a baby?” she scoffed to herself. “And with a husband as old as mine?” 13Then God said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ 14Is anything too hard for God?  Next year, just as I told you, I will certainly see to it that Sarah has a son.” 15But Sarah denied it. “I didn’t laugh,” she lied, for she was afraid.

*God knows and hears everything we say and do!

Jeremiah gives us the confident answer: 32 verse 17 “Nothing is too hard for you.”

#2. There is No Promise too hard for God to keep!

Matthew 19:26 (ESV) – But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

There are over 30 thousand in the Bible and God will keep His word.

If God made the promise, He cannot lie.

Numbers 23:19 (NIV) – God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV) – “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

#3. There’s No Prayer too hard for God to answer.

Jesus himself said:

Matthew 21:22 (NIV) – If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) – “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

God always answers our prayers with our best interest at heart.

1 John 5:14-15 (LB) – 14And we are sure of this that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. 15And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us.

#4. There is No Problem too hard for God to solve.

God specializes in things that seem impossible. God may not solve your problem the way you want Him too – God will always give His best

#5. There’s No Person too hard for God to save.

Anybody, yes anybody who comes to Him will not be turned away.

John 6:37 (NIV) – “All the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” – (God is fully committed to you!)

2 Peter 3:9 (NIV) – The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

BUT….!!!

Do you know that man can limit Almighty God? How?

Psalm 78:40-41 (LB) – 40Oh, how often they rebelled against him in those desert years and grieved his heart. 41Again and again they turned away and tempted God to kill them and limited the Holy One of Israel from giving them his blessings.

There are 3 things that can limit God:

An unwilling Spirit.

It’s like a man who was sentenced to death. His family went to the Governor pleaded for his life. The Governor wrote out a pardon, the man said “I will not accept it.” The High Court adjudicated that the pardon is rendered invalid. The man must be hung if he refuses the Pardon.

If you say No to Jesus, there’s not enough angels to drag you to Jesus.

An Unconcerned Attitude.

Means: Indifference- absence of interest, attention or enthusiasm

Revelation 3:20 (NIV) – “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”

God can open any door He wants but He says; He waits for us to open it.

The Bible wasn’t given to us to gratify our curiosity but as a guideline to obey and follow.

God says:

Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV) – “15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

An Unclean Lifestyle.

Psalm 66:18 (NIV) – If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Isaiah 59:1-2 (NIV) – 1Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. 2But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

There are many Christians living in willful sin today.
They are suffering under bondage of Satan.
They call out to God for help
They read scriptures even quote them
They go from one counselor to another for deliverance
And yet they can’t connect with God because of unrepentant sin.

Jeremiah 32:17 (NIV) – “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV) – 24”The Lord bless you and keep you; 25the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.”
