God will work it out – by Pastor Kobus Massyn

Do you trust God to work it out? Most will worship God, but not trust Him.
In all the troubles that we face, He will work it out because we place our trust in Him.
James 4:1-10 (NLT) – “What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them.
Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong – you want only what will give you pleasure. You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God?
I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit He has placed within us should be faithful to Him. And He gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up in honor.”
Many people leave the Church over petty things. Some say that it is because they do not feel at home. Why? What I have learned is that hurt people, hurt people. We need to be the ones to encourage and to make the Church our home.
The Church is about getting hurt people together and teaching them that God will work it out. Come as you are.
Time is running out and people who are not in line with the word, needs to step up and let God work it out.
If God called you by name, He has a plan for you and He will work it out.
Here are some Biblical heroes
Noah: God told him to build a boat in a time where there they have never heard of rain. God gave him a plan that was not easy to understand.
Abraham: God did not give him a careless promise, but humanly impossible. God knew their age, but God had a plan.
Gideon: God did not give him a purpose that was safe. He was scared and in hiding. But God told him that he was going to be used on the frontlines.
Joseph: God did not give him a dream that was short sited. It took him 12 years to get out of jail. Would you still trust God after 12 years for the dreams or prophecy’s spoken over your live? Do not grow weary.
Moses: God did not give him a position that was trouble free. He had to learn how to deal with all the people. But he trusted that God will work it out.
Daniel: God did not give him favour that was undisciplined.
Job: God did not give him trials that were unnecessary. He lost everything, but the victory was amazing.
We are all siting with our own challenges, but how are we negotiating this life?
Here are some scriptures to explain that God is the solution to all we face.
Psalm 46:10a (NIV) – He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;…
Isaiah 55:8 (NIV) – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
He knows what is in my future. My troubles must seem petty and the solution so easy if God is in control.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) – For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
You are not heading for a disaster if you can be still and know that God is in control. He knows His plans for you.
Galatians 2:20a (NIV) – I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
Be still and allow God to download His plans to you. The same Spirit living in me is the one who raised Him from the dead.
Acts 17:28a – For in Him we live and move and have our being.’
We need to get to a place where His Spirit will show you the way.
Allow God’s wisdom to impart and empower you to make the right decisions and take the correct actions even in the smallest things. Allow God to guide you and give wisdom to you so that you will be prepared when the big decisions come your way
Things to remember:
1) When God calls us, He will lead the way
2) When God speaks to us, He will be specific
3) When God needs us, He will call us
Allow God to be present and make that impartation in your spirit.
