Faith is the key to living a Kingdom life

Faith is the key to living a Kingdom life

Without the key you cannot open the Kingdom of God – you need faith to activate. Matthew 6:33

What does your faith do for you?

Faith helps us walk fearlessly, run confidently and live victoriously.

NOTE the opposite of this is true too, without faith

Why is faith such an important part of our Kingdom life?
Because it’s the very essence of our success or failure in our walk with God.

Hebrews 11:6 (Amp) – But without faith* it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Faith* connects the Natural with the Supernatural

Ephesians 2:8 – We got saved by faith.

Romans 12:6 – we are given a measure faith.

2 Corinthians 4:13 (Amp) – Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak,

Referring here to Psalm 116:10 (Amp) – I believed [and clung to my God] when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” (he was saying, “Had it not been faith that kept me”

What exactly is it that makes faith so powerful?

Hebrews 11:3 (Amp) – By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

*Not by my education or science or mans ideas

Hebrews 11:1 (Amp) – Now FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Faith is like a Radar, you can’t see the promise or breakthrough but you know its there

Having created everything by the Word of His power, God upholds all things by the same Word.

It’s not about having faith in the faith but faith in the unchanging word of God.

Hebrews 1:3 (Amp) – He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power.

Faith activates that word

Faith is the method of operation by which the Father, Son and Holy Spirit works.

Notice after the Hebrews 11 hall of faith fame discussion, the writer says in Chapter 12.

Hebrews 12:2a (Amp) – Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also it’s Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].

Romans 4:17 (NIV) -this is our God … “He calls things that are not as though they were.”

Faith works by the Word.

Romans 10:17 (Amp) – So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).

Hebrews 4:12 says, God’s Word is the sword of the Spirit.  The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word.

John 1:14 (Amp) – Jesus (The Word) became flesh and dwelt among us.

All things in the entire creation react to His Word. He gave us a choice and it’s how we react to His Word that makes all the difference.
The point is, you can only overcome to the extent of your strength of FAITH in Christ.
Faith separates religion from reality. Religion relies on the 5 senses IE: seeing is believing.

1 John 5:4 (Amp) – For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.

By faith we must speak life, not death. (The Kingdom positive language)

Speak the word, not your emotions, feelings or circumstance.

By faith we overcome.

Faith activates a positive life

It’s amazing how one moment you can be full of faith, just one thing goes wrong and you feel totally out of it (faith stops that).

Living the New Kingdom life is a life of Faith.

Romans1:17 (Amp) – For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written (Hab 2:4), The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

Galatians 2:20 (Amp) – I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Hebrews 10:38 (NIV) – But My righteous one will live by faith and if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with Him.

All men need a FAITH that will not shrink when washed in the waters of trials and troubles.  You start out as an XL (EXTRA LARGE) faith man but after a few difficulties and trials you end up an XS(EXTRA small).

By faith we must believe the “But God factor”.

Faith can be construed as the act of spiritually drawing power from the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (NIV) – So that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

The Word, the promise-filled source of our hope receiving it and then acting exactly in accordance with the Word of His power.

The Word of God is quite unlike anything else on earth.

It’s altogether Spirit-driven and supported by the sum total of the power of God Almighty.

John 6:63 – The Spirit gives life, [2 Cor 4:13 Spirit of faith]the flesh counts for nothing.  The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life.

Jeremiah 1:12 – Then said the Lord to me, you have seen well, for I AM alert and active, watching over my word to perform it.

Isaiah 55:11 – God’s word will always accomplish and prosper for that which He sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (Amp) -Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

No matter what your circumstances, Kingdom living FAITH will give you the courage to face the present with confidence and the future with expectation.

Luke 18:8b (NIV) –  However, when the son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

Luke 17:5 – The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

Have faith as small as a mustard seed this week.
