Good evening Bikers, family and friends.
First and foremost I want to thank GOD ALMIGHTY, Pastor George and Mrs. Lehman in their absence for entrusting this pulpit and you as their congregation into my care for this evening. It is a great honour to share GOD’S Word with you tonight.
As this message is about eternity I want to share this joke I read.
A man finds a magic lamp and out pops a genie…
“Oh wow says the man. Can you make me live forever? I don’t ever want to die.”
“Hmm that is against the rules but I’ll see what I can do”.
He snaps his fingers and a beautiful women appears. The man is confused. “What is this? I asked for eternal life!”
“Well says the genie, I granted you a beautiful wife instead.”
“That is nice but how will that give me eternal life?”
“It won’t but give it time and you will be glad that I wasn’t able to give you eternal life”
What is assurance? The reserve bank gives us the assurance that this note can buy to the value of R100. That is worldly assurance, a human system.
R100 note is worth only a R100 in 1970 an R100 was also just R100, however the buying power of a R100 of 1970 is now worth R6807,96.

PRAYER
Thank YOU LORD for YOUR Presence, I submit and surrender wholly to YOUR leading and guidance. I pray for Your importation and revelation for each and every person present, including those that can hear my voice, HOLY SPIRIT come have YOUR way in our lives.
I am sure that some of you have on more than one occasion doubted eternity, please confirm with a show of hands if you have. You see, we are touched by the HOLY SPIRIT, we accept JESUS CHRIST as our SAVIOR and…
“BOOM” the world system which is ruled by satan knocks us around, resists and opposes us. My and your failures, our actions or our disobedience, ignoring the unchinning of the HOLY SPIRIT are used against us by satan to accuse us, to make us feel unworthy to be called a child of GOD.
Just listen to this scripture.
Isaiah 59:2-3 AMP
But your wickedness has separated you from your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood And your fingers with wickedness [with sin, with injustice, with wrongdoing]; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue mutters wickedness.
Realise this, our rebellious attitude to not submit fully to JESUS CHRIST allows satan to rule our lives.
We are the “accused” by satan, our own sin is used against us to create doubt in GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT and JESUS CHRIST and HIS Supernatural realm,( the physical and spiritual) please note I say HIS, why? Because this is where GOD RULES! according to:
Colossians 1:16 AMP
For by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him.
The Glory of GOD is seen in Nature, the beauty and uniqueness of HIS people and HIS Word, do we know the SUPREME GOD? Only through reading the Word can we get to know GOD.
Through this scripture we see that once we fully submit and surrender our lives to GOD, JESUS CHRIST will rule our lives through our love for HIM.

“A person who wholly follows the Lord is one who believes that the promises of God are trustworthy, that He is with His people, and that they are well able to overcome.”
We have been enabled by the HOLY SPIRIT when we received JESUS CHRIST as SAVIOUR.
Doubt is the single one thing satan uses to derail our Spiritual growth process. When me and you doubt, we nullify the Dynamos Power of the HOLY SPIRIT! This does not only affect us, it actually affects everyone around us, everyone that we communicate and or associate with, we speak death and failure into every and all situations once we doubt. Our body language shows defeat.
Confirmation of the above statement is in the following scripture.
2 Cor 4:4 AMP
Among them, the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Satan blinds us through our unbelieve, through our doubt.
BUT! and this is a humongous BUT, we have assurance, our insurance was paid for by JESUS CHRIST. HIS act on the cross, HIS Bloodshed for us, ensured our assurance if and only if we believe in HIM! IF we accept HIM into our lives.
It is written in and I will read for you:
1 John 5:13 AMP
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life.
Wow, thank YOU LORD!
We can not do anything to attain eternity, nope, we are assured of it through our believing in and receiving of JESUS CHRIST. HE did it all for us! Because JESUS CHRIST died for us and rose to live eternally, that is why we can live eternally! Confirmation of this is written in:
Ephesians 2:4-5 AMP
But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favour and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment).
Thank YOU LORD!
We can have the confidence, the assurance. We don’t have to live on “hope”, “if” or “maybe”. You see, JESUS CHRIST is LIFE!
It’s all about our Choices!
The apostle John shared quite a few “life” verses:
John 3:16
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
My beautiful wife knows this one well, she carries this one on her foot.
John 3:36
He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually .”
It’s our choice, we decide!
John 5:24
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.
John 6:47
I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who believes [in Me as Savior—whoever adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me—already] has eternal life [that is, now possesses it].
Question is, have you made the choice, that decision?
John 10:28
And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.
Know that is ASSURANCE! WOW, thank YOU LORD.
John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent. Do we know the WORD, do we Know GOD?
These are but a few in the Word of GOD.
Do we need more ASSURANCE than what we have received from GOD through HIS precious Word? I can give you many more scripture verses confirming the ONE and ONLY “LIFE” source JESUS CHRIST. I believe I have given you more than enough ASSURANCE through the Word.
The Word says, do not believe, rely on men, rather rely on GOD. You see we rely on this man-made assurance, this R100 note, we rather trust the world system than in our SUPREME GOD, our CREATER. We should however trust and rely on GOD as HE is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.
I want you all to close your eyes in prayer.
ALMIGHTY GOD and Heavenly Father, I thank you for this Word, LORD I humbly ask that YOU will continue to Minister to each of us through YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, LORD bless YOUR people with understanding, revelation and submission into every heart, LORD we acknowledge YOU as our RULER and ask for YOUR guidance, wisdom, insight and protection, may YOU RULE in every heart and mind present from here on into eternity.
Know that we’ve prayed, I want all to consider the following question carefully: do you have this ASSURANCE that you have heard of tonight?
Keeping our eyes closed, please meditate on the question.
If you do not have the ASSURANCE of eternal life with JESUS CHRIST, I want you to put your hand up, will those that put your hands up please come to the front, we have skilled councilors that will go pray with and for you for this ASSURANCE.
